Sealed rivets closely resemble standard open rivets in the way they work. the main difference being that the rivet body completely encapsulates the rivet stem. This means that the rivet is completely sealed when installed, making the rivet ideal for use in exterior applications where water resistance may be required.
Another benefit of sealed rivets is in applications where the rear side of the panel is on view, as the sealed rivet gives a good cosmetic appearance.
Aluminium rivets with aluminium stems are a versatile and flexible solution suitable for use in a wide range of applications. Offering a lower clamp up to standard rivets are suited to use in a variety of materials including rigid plastics. All aluminium rivets are also useful where the finished assembly needs to be anodised
Aluminium/aluminium sealed rivets are available in dome and countersunk head styles
Aluminium sealed rivets with steel stems are a versatile and flexible solution suitable for applications which need to be weatherproof. Sealed rivets are suited to any metal to metal assembly where sealing is required.
Available in dome of countersunk heads
Aluminium rivets with stainless steel stems are similar in application to aluminium/steel sealed rivets. The only major difference being that the stainless steel stems will not corrode and discolour if the head of the rivet is exposed in exterior applications.
Steel sealed rivets offer strong joints in all metal to metal applications where sealing is required.
Available with a range of head styles, steel rivets offer a flexible solution to most applications.
Q-Standard open rivets offer strong joints allied to excellent corrosion resistance. Ideal for exterior, or high corrosion applications.
