To enable long-lasting customised operation with increased corrosion resistance, Southco has expanded its range of E6 Hinges with the introduction of the new E6 Plastic Constant Torque Hinge.

Designed for use in corrosive environments, the new E6 hinge has been constructed with robust plastic and a stainless steel shaft over moulded in nylon. Compared to typical hinges, the E6 features anodised aluminium end caps that provide excellent corrosion protection, increasing options for use. This will save the time and associated costs required to replace corrosion damaged hinges.

There are additional cost savings to be made as the E6 hinge eliminates the need for secondary supports to hold hinged components in position.
