New Miniature Southco Cam Latch Provides Solution for Limited Space Applications - Available Now At Zygology

Southco pride themselves on “creating first impressions that last” and the new mini addition to the E5 fixed grip cam latch range does that by providing reliable performance and an all new, versatile solution for applications where space is at a premium.

Featuring a 30% reduction in intrusion compared to Southco’s popular standard E5 Cam Latch series, the miniature E5 Cam Latch is a simple, cost effective solution for small enclosures, providing a significantly smaller footprint for limited space applications. 

Available in multiple grip sizes, the mini E5 is ideal for applications with light duty doors, or where the inside of the enclosure has limited space and only permits minimal latch intrusion.

The new E5 also offers universal operation, making it suitable for both right-hand and left-hand hinged doors.

Reduced packaging and varying options for grip and actuation make the miniature E5 suitable for a wide range of industry applications reducing costs previously necessary as a result of special order requirement.

Meeting rigorous NEMA 4 and IP65 standards for water and dust protection increases durability and safety. The E5 provides ingress protection and is suitable for use indoors and out. Usability and longevity is increased as the new latch solution provides protection against incidental contact with elements such as falling dirt, rain, sleet, snow, windblown dust, splashing water, and hose-directed water.
