Installed during the moulding process

Installed during the moulding process the inserts are located in the mould cavity by core pins. When the mould is opened the core pins are withdrawn leaving the inserts permanently encapsulated in the plastic sction with only the heads exposed.

Installing the inserts during the moulding process eliminates the need for secondary operations or additional installation equipment.

Moulded in inserts IBB, IBC

Blind threaded inserts. Blind-end protects the threads from plastic intrusion. Thread sizes #2 to 3/8" and M2.5 to M8.

Moulded in inserts IBLC

Self-locking blind threaded inserts. Deformed threads lock screw in place to resist vibration. Blind-end protects threads from plastic intrusion. Thread sizes #2 to 1/4" and M3 to M6.

Moulded in inserts ITB, ITC

Thru-threaded inserts. Pilot diameter and undercuts allow plastic to flow into grooves providing high pullout resistance. Thread sizes #0 to 3/8" and M3 to M10.

Thru-threaded inserts. Pilot diameter and undercuts allow plastic to flow into grooves providing high pullout resistance. Thread sizes #0 to 3/8" and M3 to M10.
