Designed for the quick attachment of DIN 41612 connectors (plus coding bars if required) to printed circuit boards, Avtronic is suitable for the assembly of a wide variety of plastic and aluminium components. Available in brass hot tin dip, Avtronic is highly suited to flow solder processes, unlike nuts and bolts - which normally have to be installed after flow.
If required manipulation of the mandrel allows Avtronic to be used in holes which are oversize. Once nose equipment has been selected the process is totally repeatable - ensuring consistent results.
Featuring a grip range of up to 18.0 millimetres Avtronic can also be used in blind holes. Avtronic is also available in aluminium as standard or special platings to customer order
