Briv is a multipurpose fastener, suitable for use in most materials including steel, stainless steel aluminium and plastics. Briv rivets have bulbed ends, which give superior clamp up for high strength joints. A low profile head combined with a neat tail form makes Briv suitable for applications where cosmetics are important.
Typically, Briv can be found in electrical appliances, electronic assemblies, general metal fabrication, lighting and automotive applications.
If required manipulation of the nose equipment and mandrel combination allows Briv to be used in holes which are oversize or irregular. In addition hole fill and clamp up can be closely controlled. Once nose equipment has been selected the process is totally repeatable - ensuring consistent results.
Briv is available in aluminium; steel, stainless steel, brass and hot tin dipped brass, with snap or countersunk head options. Painted, anodised or other special finishes are available to customer order.
